2006 After learning of a new website in Asia known as Alibaba, I began a search for a manufacturing company which could produce a custom clothing piece based on the look, cuts, fabric, and style of athletic soccer jerseys.   One was found and after a couple weeks of prototyping and communication with the Philipines based company, I had developed my vision and ordered 12 to be made and shipped to the United States. At 22, this was my first international trade deal which was a massive learning experience. The pieces lack a few design elements that I learned to place into the next batch (should there ever be a next batch) but they were successful. The acrylic case was found at a local thrift shop and painted. At the bottom of the case rests the original paperwork produced from the project including a rudimentary projection of profit and the shipping papers.  The entire project is to be sold and shipped as one artifact.
